Two interesting studies, (Censis – UCSI and Pew Research Center) have highlighted the relationship of people with internet, respectively in Italy and in some countries in the developing world. A casual combination.
The landline is disappearing; only 1% of the population of Ghana, Nigeria, Bangladesh and Uganda have a fixed line, compared to 60% of the citizens of the United States of America. By them as well, mobile and smartphones have replaced the drive.
52% of Chinese buy on the web; 93% of Filipinos use forms of social networking, 75% of Lebanese do it for talking of politics (66 in Egypt, 63%in Jordan).
In Ukraine only 53% of the population has access to the network but 80% of the population said they follow politics thanks to the internet.
And in Italy?

Due interessanti studi, (Censis – Ucsi e Pew Research Center) hanno messo in luce il rapporto delle persone con internet, in Italia e in alcuni Paesi in via di sviluppo. Accostamento casuale.
Il telefono fisso sta scomparendo; solo l’1% della popolazione di Ghana, Nigeria, Bangladesh e Uganda possiede una linea fissa, contro il 60% dei cittadini degli Stati Uniti d’America. Anche da loro, cellulare e smartphone hanno soppiantato il fisso. Il 52% dei cinesi compra sul web; il 93% dei filippini utilizza forme di social networking, il 75% dei libanesi lo fa per parlare di politica (in Egitto il 66 e in Giordania il 63%).
In Ucraina ha accesso alla rete solo il 53% della popolazione ma l’80% della popolazione ha dichiarato di seguire la politica grazie a internet.
E in Italia?

Italians who buy online are 15 million (43.5% of users); 37% do so to save money, but 65% prefer prepaid cards to play it safe. It must be said that, according to this study, Italians use internet mainly for search locations and addresses (60, 4%); secondly, there is the search for information on companies, products and services (56%), then the home banking (46.2%), listening to music (43.9%), watching movies (25.9%), looking for work (18.4%), attending practices (17.1%), calls via Skype or other VoIP services (16.2%).

Gli italiani che comprano in rete sono 15 milioni (43,5% degli utenti); il 37% lo fa per risparmiare ma il 65% preferisce le carte prepagate per non correre rischi. Va detto che, secondo questo studio, gli italiani internet lo usano soprattutto per cercare località e indirizzi (60,4%); in seconda battuta, c’è la ricerca d’informazioni su aziende, prodotti e servizi (56%), poi l’home banking (46,2%), l’ascolto di musica (43,9%), guardare film (25,9%), cercare lavoro (18,4%), sbrigare pratiche (17,1%), telefonare tramite Skype o altri sevizi VoIP (16,2%).
