Adoptions, and international adoptions, should be significantly preferred to the assisted fecundation. From a spiritual standpoint, if nothing else. In USA, gay couples too can adopt*; honestly, in my humble opinion, to help the children of Syria, whose relatives die under the bombs, or the little ones of other unlucky Countries, would be wonderful. Distance adoption is not enough.
