Few times in my life it happened to me to see such an esoterically courageous animation film
like Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Pinocchio’.
Carlo Collodi’s Bildungsroman, a holy monster of world literature,
was reborn in a skillful declination
that dissolved the original ingredients (Freedom, Distrust of power, Feelings)
and recombined them with originality and style.
I strongly recommend it for be seeing above all by adults,
as a new vision of the Life.
And of the Death.
