In today’s episode, the twenty-fifth of this season, ‘Married to the Blob‘, The Simpsons will pay homage to Hayao Miyazaki (on Fox, of course).
The genius of Japanese animation cinema, who has already declared his retirement, will become ‘the Comic Book Guy‘ and will need the Homer’s help to share his comics with everyone and, overall, to conquer Kumiko, a beautiful Japanese girl who wrote an autobiographical manga.
During the episode, Miyazaki’s fans will be able to appreciate quotations from ‘Spirited Away‘ (in Italy ‘La città incantata’), ‘Totoro‘ and some else; two cameos will be dedicated to Stan Lee and to Harlan Ellison, sci-fi writer and author of ‘Star Trek‘.
