Aggiornamento 17 gennaio 2012: Rai 1 dedicherà due serate ad Ana Maria de Jesus Ribeiro da Silva, nota a tutti come Anita Garibaldi, moglie di Giuseppe e di lui fedele compagna anche nella pugna (in realtà tutte le donne del Risorgimento andrebbero riscoperte e approfondite).
Anita è interpretata da Valeria Solarino, essendo Giorgio Pasotti nei panni dell’Eroe dei due mondi.
Si cominciano a delineare le strategie della prossima stagione televisiva ma mi attanaglia un dubbio inquietante su quella appena conclusa:
Perché (Why? Picché?) nel 2011, anno di celebrazione del 150° anniversario dell’Unità d’Italia, non una fiction è stata dedicata al nostro Risorgimento?
AGGIORNAMENTO:
in data 12 luglio si è saputo che, forse con l’intento di colmare questa lacuna, Rai 3 manderà in onda in autunno ‘Noi credevamo’, il film di Mario Martone sul Risorgimento italiano. Doveva andare su Rai 1 in due puntate ma Paolo Ruffini lo ha chiesto al coordinamento del palinsesto.
Martone, che, nel frattempo, è stato scelto come uno dei giurati alla prossima mostra del cinema di Venezia, ha accolto positivamente la notizia.
È inoltre partita una campagna per candidare ‘Noi credevamo‘ agli Oscar, ovviamente in rappresentanza dei nostri colori.

That same year, he also launched his activity as a blogger (Pasquale Curatola's Blog) and author, with works spanning from essays and non-fiction to fantasy and comedy-thrillers (attività letteraria).
His career also includes collaborations with news outlets and live shows for private channels, alongside PR experiences for high-profile clients such as AC Milan, Bank of New York, and Orange Business Services.
He is a dedicated blood and organ donor.
