It is my heavy concern that certain North Koreans louts  may have drawn on a blog like the mine for their misdeeds; it seems, in fact, that the computers of Sony Pictures, often mentioned by experts for its interesting film activities, have been the subject of pernicious initiatives by some hackers, who stole five films and left, as a mocking seal of the initiative, a red skull with the words “Hacked by #GOP“. Stolen films, including ‘Fury‘, with Brad Pitt, were distributed illegally on the net, causing  to the Sony a damage difficult to quantify; employees of Sony, as a further shame of their professionalism, they could not even use the PC for the other activities, even for corporate email. 

The motivation of the felon gesture could be a revenge against the film ‘The Interview‘, in which two Americans, played by James Franco and Seth Rogen, interview the dictator Kim Jong-un and he is killed, just during the interview,within a plot hatched by CIA. It seems that, even after the release of the trailer, the Pyongyang regime had shown undisguised disappointment, calling the film “an operation of war” and coming to ask the UN to block a “totally unacceptable” programming.

A partial endorsement of this hypothesis is a statement issued by South Korea, which claims to have suffered an attack of cyber-war on the part of northern cousins last year, with the total disappearance of the television signal of the national broadcaster.

What may sound strange is that the offending film, ‘The interview‘, is not among those hacked neither it is programmed in South Korea cinemas because it shows Kim Jong-un in a positive way; Pyongyang’s ambassador to the UN, asked on the question if the initiative is the flour of a North Korean lot, laconically replied, “The hostile forces are relating everything to the DPRK (North Korea). I kindly advise you to just wait and see“.

Today, it became known that the nice young man who created the malware used the Korean language pack, probably using bootleg computers in Thailand, Poland and Italy, making use of the Windows Management Instrumentation, a tool used to manage Windows computers on a large scale.

The FBI, in its own small way, recommends to ordinary mortals extreme caution because the malware crafted by knaves GOP (“Guardians of Peace”), if loaded on your computer, can burn all the memory.

È mia greve preoccupazione che taluni gaglioffi nord-coreani possano aver attinto a blog come il mio per le loro malefatte; sembra, infatti, che i computer della Sony Pictures, spesso ricordata dagli addetti ai lavori per le sue interessanti attività cinematografiche, siano stati oggetto di perniciose iniziative da parte di alcuni hacker, che hanno rubato cinque film e lasciato, quale irridente suggello dell’iniziativa, un teschio rosso con la scritta «Hacked by #GOP». Le pellicole rubate, tra cui ‘Fury’, con Brad Pitt, sono state distribuite illegalmente in rete, causando alla Sony un danno difficilmente quantificabile; i dipendenti della Sony, a ulteriore onta della loro professionalità, non hanno potuto usare i pc nemmeno per le altre attività, nemmeno per la posta elettronica aziendale. La motivazione dello scellerato gesto potrebbe essere una vendetta nei confronti del film ‘The Interview’, nel quale due  americani, interpretati da James Franco e Seth Rogen, intervistano il dittatore Kim Jong-un e questi viene ucciso, proprio contestualmente all’intervista, nell’ambito di un complotto ordito dalla Cia. Pare che, già dopo la diffusione del trailer, il regime di Pyongyang avesse manifestato malcelato disappunto, definendo la pellicola “un’operazione di guerra” e arrivando a chiedere all’ONU il blocco di una programmazione “assolutamente intollerabile“.

A parziale avallo di questa ipotesi c’è una dichiarazione rilasciata dalla Corea del Sud, che afferma d’aver subito un attacco di cyber-guerra da parte dei cuginetti settentrionali l’anno scorso, con totale scomparsa del segnale televisivo dell’emittente nazionale.

Quello che può suonare strano è che il film incriminato, ‘The interview’, non è tra quelli hackerati né sarà programmato nelle sale cinematografiche della Corea del Sud perché rappresenta Kim Jong-un in modo positivo; l’ambasciatore di Pyongyang all’ONU, alla domanda se l’iniziativa sia farina di un sacco nord coreano, ha laconicamente risposto «Le forze ostili (si) stanno relazionando (in) tutto alla Corea del nord. Vi consiglio gentilmente di aspettare e stare a vedere».

In data odierna, si è saputo che quel bravo giovane che ha creato il malware ha usato il language pack coreano, usando probabilmente computer taroccati in Thailandia, Polonia e Italia, facendo uso della Windows Management Instrumentation, uno strumento usato per la gestione degli elaboratori Windows su ampia scala.

La FBI, nel suo piccolo, raccomanda ai comuni mortali la massima prudenza perché il malware creato ad arte dai bricconi del GOP (“Guardians of Peace”), se caricato sul computer, può bruciare tutta la memoria.
