Update on September 5: today it is the 40th anniversary of the Masters as a TV series!
‘Masters of the Universe’ is a 1987 American film directed by Gary Goddard, produced by Yoram Globus and Menahem Golan, and written by David Odell. Based, of course, on the homonym cartoon and toys series.
Screenplay apart, a scene (just one!) could be put in comparison with one of ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, directed by the big Taika Waititi:
The two films, as anyone remembers, are definitely different. And some kinds of tortures, throughout the different contexts, have always been similar…
