Little Einsteins

I go crazy for Little Einsteins. They are four little genius, very talented in music, art, geography, and a lot of other subjects. They have a personal spaceship, Rocket, which works thanks to the music.

Team leader is Leo, really skilled in music direction and spaceship driving. More, there is his sister Annie, who invents songs in base of the problem, Quincy, who plays every possible instrument, and June, who is very talented at dancing.   Two of them are white, one is black, one is Chinese.

In each episode of their cartoon, they have a mission, to help an animal, a friend, even an unanimated thing, to get out of its problem. Their wonderful world is full of classical music, art, nature and real life experiences.

But Little Einsteins also need your help.

And you can take a part in the mission, by following the rhythm of the moment…

congratulations…

Last times too many problems for Italy.

Inflation, precariousness, weakness of institutions, delinquency, clandestine immigration and international image destroyed. Political leaders become scapegoat for people discontent, independently from their responsibilities.

 Of course, if change lire/euro had been managed with more cautiousness, if financial laws were different, if Italians frontiers had been not opened in such irrational way, if some absurd laws on general pardon had not approved, if Prodi government had not managed to disappoint any electoral promise, perhaps discontent would be less relevant.
 I think it could be an explanation of recent elections in Italy.
Probably, Veltroni has not won because people did not want to put faith to a team similar to the previous.
The Rainbow Left, a part the not very incisive symbol, has not persuaded focus target and has not enlarged it.

North League has seemed a sort of bastion of the rights menaced by clandestine immigration.

Oscar 2008

For the category “Best animated film” compete:

  • “Persepolis”: Marjane Satrapi, Vincent Paronnaud;
  • “Ratatouille” (Walt Disney): Brad Bird;
  • “Surf’s Up”: Ash Brannon and Chris Buck.

Who will be the winner?

“Persepolis” gives an important and courageous message.

“Ratatouille” and “Surf’s up” have magic and technical perfection.

Moreover, targets too are very different…

Disney latest magics

Remi, star of “Ratatouille”, has represented for me not only a mouse, but someone able to realize his dreams. He went to Paris, getting out of his provincial environment, and managed to become an estimated professional in the field he had always dreamed to work for.

Remi is the real star of the film, the most characterized . He is not, as someone could think, only an evolution of the “kurosuke” of japanese tradition. He helps the human star (Linguini) to get out of troubles, and all the story works around him.

Now, I  am looking forward to see “Enchanted”, last Disney magic (in Italy it is arriving now, even it has already been presented in October, at Rome Cinema Festival).

Ratatouille is astonishing for technical perfection and the wonderful story, what Enchanted (in Italy “Come d’incanto“) is going to offer?

Mary Magdalene

I started to study Mary Magdalene a few years ago. I would like to reason with you about. Gospel according to Saint Philip, found by case in the dust of the desert, contains some passes where Jesus & Mary look companions, where Jesus kissed her on the mouth, and the others disciples were envious of her.

Somebody say that Gospel according to saint Philip is not reliable, but I found in the Acts of the apostles, those written by saint Luke, everyone of us can verify, the following pass:

                                                      “Moved away, the next day we came to Caesarea and, come into Evangelist Philip,

who was one of the Seven, stayed  there”

(Act, 21, 8)

We must suppose that Gospel according to saint Philip found in Ben Hammadi be a precise copy of the lost Greek version. I read some passes of that Gospel, sometime is hard to understand and to interpret.

Somebody say that, if people called Jesus Rabbi, it means he was married, because in Jewish tradition we can call Rabbi only a married man.

Others suppose that Jesus could be called Rabbi even not married, because  he belonged to the schism of Essens.

Mary Magdalene tradition is very old and in Occidental culture there is a lot of testimonies. What about Proust’s madeleines or the pseudonym of Jean Valjean in Hugo’s novel ‘The Miserables’?  What about Disney symbols? A part Mermaid Ariel looking at a particular paint, I discovered that there is a five petals rose in the comb of Mulan, in the 2nd episode of the saga!

What do you think about?
